Ironhold Siege

Ironhold Siege is the closest thing on my phone to a proper strategy board. You do not just drop towers, you shape the whole battlefield with walls, choke points and supply lines that can be cut. Every wave forces you to reconsider the layout you were proud of ten minutes ago.

The economy is tight. You never have enough resources for everything, so you are constantly choosing between raw firepower and the slower path of upgrading a smaller number of positions. My best runs came from restraint, not from spamming turrets everywhere.

It is not a casual game. Some maps took me three or four attempts, and the tutorial does not hold your hand for long. But if you want strategy that actually asks you to think, this is a rare one on mobile.
