Lantern Hollow

Lantern Hollow is a gentle adventure game with a lovely hand-drawn look. You wander a forest town, talk to its odd residents, and slowly untangle why the lanterns keep going out at night. It is more about atmosphere and small discoveries than pressure.

Puzzles are logical and grounded in the world rather than abstract lock-and-key stuff. Most solutions come from paying attention to what people say and what objects do, which made me feel clever instead of stuck.

It is a shorter game, maybe five or six hours, but it does not overstay its welcome. I finished it over a weekend and it left a warm impression.
